Justice and fairness

In the PI framework, the Moral asset of “fairness” refers to “equitable, just, and reasonable treatment of others.” This brief primer on the philosophical roots of fairness—published by Santa Clara University’s Markkula Center for Applied Ethics and a good conversation piece for use with students—describes the relationship between fairness and justice and their implications for our society.
